At The AA we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workforce. We aim to ensure that people are treated equally at work, across all levels and locations and we value the contribution that everyone makes for us, regardless of their background.
When it comes to D&I, we don’t just talk the talk. Our Balance network pioneered a maternity leave buddy scheme to support returning mums; our Origins network ensured we became Race at Work Charter signatories; our Pride network helped us update our sexual orientation and gender identity options; and our Ability network introduced the Hidden Sunflower Disability Sunflower logos schemes across the business.
We have five Employee Network Groups, sponsored by senior leaders. They are open to all colleagues, if they want to become an active ally, or just want to learn more and show their support.
Gender Pay Gap
We are committed to closing the gender pay gap at The AA and we do this through:
- Levelling the playing field by creating a culture where those with diverse views thrive.
- Continuing to review our recruitment practices and talent pipelines to attract a higher proportion of diverse candidates to the company.
- Continuing to support the development and retention of women.
